Ways to Donate

Workplace Matching

Corporate matching gifts are a form of philanthropy where companies match the donations their employees make to nonprofit organizations.

Corporate Matching Programs

When an employee donates, they request a matching gift from their employer. The employer then makes a corresponding donation to the nonprofit.

Typically, companies match donations at a 1:1 ratio, but some may match at 2:1, 3:1, or even 4:1 ratios.

Corporate Donations for Volunteer Hours

Alternatively, your company may offer an initiative to donate a set amount of money to a charity based on the number of hours an employee volunteers with that organization. Sometimes called a “Dollars for Doers” program, it rewards employees for their volunteer time with a financial contribution to the cause they support.
